I'm a composer, producer, writer, artist, singer, and multi-instrumentalist from Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. I lead the symphonic metal band Traumagician and the Poe-themed theatrical project Dead Edgar, do scoring work for Invictus Films, manage and produce Kate Fitz and the Romantics, and play mandolin for Astalo. Before I moved to Finland, I also played mandolin for The Reel Folk and the Grassroots Shakespeare Company.I write everything from classical choir pieces to heavy metal ballads to ridiculous synthrock bops about turning human beings into crabs. I was raised on a steady diet of opera and traditional Irish folk tunes; my mother exposed me to exclusively classical music for most of my childhood. But when I was 13 my dad brought home a Nightwish CD from a trip abroad, and on that day my lifelong obsession with Nordic metal--and my desire to become a professional musician myself--was born.In August 2025, I moved to Helsinki to study at my dream school: the world-acclaimed Sibelius Academy, and the birthplace of many of my favorite bands. Dreams do come true!
